Choose the Roles

Select the roles being played. The variant, setup, victory conditions, rules and teaching script below all follow your choices.

Base game roles (5 players: all of them; first game: all but the Thief)
Fearsome Foes roles — the Vile Ghoul, Nightmare Unicorn and Cave Ghost replace the Goblins, Dragon and Cave (the Unicorn may also join the Dragon); the Ghoul and Ghost are added roles. The Ghost and Cave Ghost are advanced.
