StarCraft: The Board Game — Setup & Reference Utility

Pick your player count, factions, Brood War and its modes and options, for exact setup steps, a full rules reference with the official FAQ and errata applied, a teaching script and a search of every rulebook.

In the StarCraft galaxy, only one thing is certain: there will be war.

The War Room

Select the sets on the table, the player count, the factions, the way you're playing and any variants. Every step, ruling and script below adapts to your choices.

Sets in play

Players two to six; Team Play needs four or six

Factions at the table (optional)

Mark the factions in play to tailor hand sizes, build limits, victory targets and faction notes. Leave them unmarked to see notes for every faction.

Way to play Brood War's game modes change the victory conditions and other key rules; only one can be used

Variants & optional rules core variants combine with each other; Brood War's optional rules can't be used with a game mode

Setup

Follow the steps in order. Each cites its official source pages; the FAQ & errata (January 2009) are already applied, and Brood War rules apply only when Brood War is selected.
